Through the recollections of three survivors, the documentary ‘The Invisibles’ spectacularly presents with many animation too the fight for freedom against the brutal Soviet overpower, which was fought by university students, foot soldiers and miners, the men and women of Pécs and the Pécs area in 1956, after the revolution was crushed in Hungary. Relying on their local knowledge, the civilians, with their poor weaponry and adopting a guerilla style warfare, were able to inflict significant losses on the Russian tanks and military, against which they held out for twelve days – the longest in the country. Until now, we have only been able to learn about what happened on the mountain from fragmentary sources, but in the documentary "The Invisibles", three former freedom fighters, scattered to the most different parts of the world (Switzerland, Germany and Australia) tell what they experienced.
